Activities include hay bale and cotton picker slides, mini John Deere tricycles, horse tire swings, & farm animals.
Additional Charges:
- Pumpkins- Carving or Specialty Pumpkins, priced according to weight
- Gourds-Price depends on size and the variety
- Corn Train- $2.00 per person per ride
- Gourd Gun- 3 shots for $5.00
- Face Painting- .50 per design
And of course you can pick your own pumpkins from our huge, 60 acres of pumpkins and gourds of all kinds and varieties!

Inside, you'll also find our personal cookbook "Tate Farms, Friends and Family," featuring recipes from the Tate family, and our many friends, employees and family members--featuring old family favorites, and of course, lots of pumpkin recipes.
Enjoy great food and fun at The Barn Cafe. The cafe is open Monday-Saturday, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. We serve, cooked to order hamburgers, hotdogs, delicious grilled and fried chicken sandwiches, chicken fingers, and fries. Of course, we use our own pumpkins to prepare our great tasting homemade pumpkin pies!
The Barn Cafe offers a soup of the day, along with the southern favorite-pintos, cornbread, and a slice of onion.
We also have pumpkin slushies, pumpkin sippies, soft drinks, hot chocolates/ cappucino's and coffee.
On Saturdays, we have fudge puppies (belgian waffles dipped in chocolate), funnel cakes, cotton candy, roasted corn, and specialty breads and desserts.
